Greentech is pleased to announce another successful collaboration with our long-term partners from the University of Clermont Ferrand through the release of a common publication in « Molecules » (Impact Factor 4.4, 2021).

In this work, we screened and evaluated several local plants sourced from Massif Central area, and demonstrated that spiraeoside, a glycosylated flavonoid, has an activity around 25 times higher than allopurinol, a well-known and potent active molecule to treat gout disease. This bioactive structure and the innovative analytical methods developed during this project open the doors for novel applications for the management of acute and chronic gout and other microcrystalline inflammatory arthritis. A new natural ingredient will join our range of nutraceutical active solutions.
