The yellow gentian (also called “Queen of the mountains”) is an emblematic medicinal plant of the Auvergne, whose root use requires sustainable management of the plant. This is the mission of Gentiana Lutea, which federates actors present at all levels of the industry and implements tools (e.g. Guide to good harvesting practices) for the sustainable management and economic development of the gentian resource in the Massif Central.
